    Robyn Day

Time is the central thread of my work, with my photographs capturing the enduring, fetishized past in the present moment. I draw inspiration from the sociopolitical vein of street photography spanning from the work of Robert Frank to that of contemporary artists such as Zoe Strauss, Lisa Kereszi, and Mitch Epstein. My academic background is in philosophy, psychology, and gender studies, interests which inform my artwork. I have participated in group exhibitions at NK Gallery in Boston’s South End, the Arsenal Center for the Arts, and the Vermont Center for Photography, among others.

    Ileana Hernandez

Born in Mexico, Ileana Hernandez Hernandez received her B.A. in Electronic Systems from the “Tec de Monterrey” and her Masters in e-Commerce from the same institution. After working for almost 10 years in the IT sector, Ileana found her passion in photography and now she works full time as an Art Photographer. Ileana has lived in Mexico and United States, where her work has been exhibited and publicized. In 2011 her work appeared in the “Best of Photography” photo book from Photographers Forum Magazine and in 2012 in “Los ojos del tiempo” and Artist Wanted photo books. Last year she earned a Post-Baccalaureate certification in Photography from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and her work was featured on Incandescent Color Film Magazine. Also, last year she had her first solo show at Parker Hill Branch Library in Boston. In her work, Ileana uses humor with the aim to connect with the viewer and better express the ideas. Because of her relationship with her pets she developed interest in the behavioral similarities and differences between animals and humans, and in how we can become wild and chaotic sometimes, letting our animal nature arise. She has been working on the Animal Nature project since 2012, constructing images that portray her adaptation to a new environment where her main companions are her tireless pets.
